The macramé detail on this reboso takes a long time to do and is often the basis for the cost. The skirt is also now of poplin, this example is back strap woven and has a large number of pleats. Many indigenous skirts, especially wrap skirts, are pleated or folded underneath the belt; these pleats are important and time consuming to create. Here the skirt is ready to go with the pleats already done. On the bottom of the skirt there is also a distinctive design woven into the cloth.
The town had one main road running through it with a number of side roads. The overall the town was clean and orderly and people were friendly. The church is worth a visit.
