There are many styles of huipils and traditional dress used in the Amusgo villages. The second picture shows some of the types that are worn or produced for resale. In the collective there are more than 30 women. The back strap loom is the primary tools for textile production. The women here also embroidered huipil and blouses. The picture on the lower right is bead work in progress, I was amazed at the dexterity beach bead is picked up with the needle out of a bowl with all the beads mixed together.
