There are no signs that tell you where to turn to get the Santa Cruz; the turn is located in the town of Tenextatiloyan on the road to Zacapoaxtla Puebla. The road is fairly new ( 9/06) and winds up and then down into the valley where the municipality of Zaulta is located. There are four towns that produce clay pottery. Tenextatiloyan and Santa Cruz are the most prominent among them. Tenextatiloyan has the advantage of being on the main road; however Santa Cruz is a great side trip. The town is neat and the setting is beautiful- The products are sold all over the northern sierra of Puebla.
