After the first centurion was hung a group of men lead a man boy around, he was a symbolic dog. They were looking under the skirts of all the women which caused a stir as they approached the women held there skirts down while other roared with laughter. They made the circle around the perimeter of the square looking for the missing centurion.

In the mean time inside the church the dearth of the fraises ( Jews) was occurring, while the Capitans prayed with the centurion the fraises (Jews) rolled on the floor of the church in death throws pounding the sables on the floor of the church. To me this was symbolic of the death of evil, the tormentor of Christ and the village.
