The traditional costume of embroidered blouse, back strap woven black belt with a knotted design to finish it and the white wrap skirt with machine embroidery is now is decline . Among the younger generation no women wears this costume. The red designs are from the traditional quechquemitl which is often worn on the head. The two women are wearing the different types of blouses found in town. The older more elaborate smocked blouse in blue and the running stitched blouse in purple.
