The voladores is a dance that is part of the culture of this region. Many think that the Voladores are from Papantla Vera Cruz. Almost every town of any size in this region has its own Palo (tree) and their own dancers, sometime more than one group. The views from here were amazing and the shot of the church with the “Palo” and the mountains in the back ground is one of my favorites. Hanging on the cloths line is a blanket, machine woven but most interesting is the heavily embroidered slip next to it.
