Magdelena Yancuitlalpan has a strong textile tradition with all generations wearing the embroidered blouse. The first image of a cross stitch design which includes cats, it turns out the animals are a important embroidery topic in Magdelena. The second and third are day to day over blouses that are worn by many generation in the town. The setting of the town is remarkable, in the background of the first picture on the bottom you can see how close they are to Popocatelpetl. The third from the bottom a woman in traditional dress walks along a path to her home. In the last picture and old woman walk up hill in her traditional dress.
