This village was another hamlet on an unmarked road in the middle of nowhere. So I decided to take the road then this lady appeared in this stunning blouse. After a bit of back and forth, I was able to get a few photos of her. Her husband told me to wait and they would dress their daughter in her traditional costume. So I drove down the road to the next town and did a shoot there ad then returned. I was stunned since they had an old style traditional skirt that they were dressing his young girl in. They put the tlapiales ( braid decoration) in her hair and the belt and that outstanding skirt. I know , I know, how is it that I get so animated about these type of things. Please remember it is my mission in life to document these textiles.
