This quiet village is located on a remote dirt road that connects the districts of Naupan and Pahuatlan. The town has been recently paved and there was municipal vehicles working on the road as I entered the town. In my brief visit I was help by a town official who introduced me to this unidentified grandmother. I love to take pictures in doorways and this photo of here in no exception. When I return (Feb. 2007) two weeks later to deliver her photo the town was having a meeting so I was not able to get more information.

I do understand from the women in Atlantongo that embroiderers from here are also involved in the textile collective called Suhuame Tlasokuime..
