Cuacaballo, Los Reyes, Veracruz, this village is a traditional Nahau speaking village located at the top and along the sides of one of the steep mountain ravines in the Los Reyes municipality. After speaking with the village elders, they sent us down the hill to find Margarita. We walked down a steep trail and then took a path into her home. She was wearing a traditional costume when we first met, which is similar to those worn in Totolinga. The town of Totolinga can be seen from the ridge where Cuacaballo is located. The costume is a muslin blouse with lightly embroidered flowers, black wrap skirt, hand-woven belt and reboso. I asked if she had any other blouses to show me that she brought out two examples these were more traditional blouses similar to those worn in other towns in the los Reyes municipality.
