Many women dressed in traditional dress are every where. Here the front and back of traditional dress is seen. The rebosos is prominent in the costume; note the beautiful long braided hair with ribbons.

Whips for to make chocolate drinks and hand made spoons. Chocolate beans are toasted then mixed with sugar and almonds to make a drink and then blended in a mill . The Chocolate is often made with water and not milk.

Gourds used to carry water or other drinks and in the front are some rattles.

Most peasant men wear straw hats, many of these somberos come from the Mixteca region although there are a few places in Ocotlan district that weave them.

When the market is in full swing, it is an amazing experience, every where you look your eyes are overwhelmed with activity and your sense of smell is challenges with the unknown odors of fruit and other market items.
