Jitotol is a Tzotzil community that is located along with highway that goes from Tabasco to Chiapa de Corzo. We drove through Jitolol in January 1993, but don,t have any independent memory of the local traje. This white blouse or huipil with black, diamond designs may be from Jitolol.

Note: this blouse has been shown to a number of Chiapas textile vendors in Mexico City 5 of 8 mentioned Jitobol, this is not a positive identification however the blouse is presented here as probably from the Jitotol region.
