  nahua_xalitla09.JPG - Amate artist painting a piece for a contect which will be held in honor of the Bi centenial of Mexico. Fonart , a government agency, holds these contests in many regions of Mexico to help preserve the traditional arts and awards large prizes to the winners to get a good deal of participation.
