ahuehuepan_nahuatl05.JPG - Ahuehuepan is a small mountain community above the town of Xalitla, there is also a road connecting to San Augustin Oapan. Here in this town the elderly women continue to wear traditional clothing. The dirt road ( 2009) climbs up from Xalitla and the old federal highway to Ahuehuepan. The town has many paved streets and is electrified.
