Teotitlan del Valle is a wonderfully traditional town where traditional dress is still worn and Zapotec is spoken by everyone. The success of the weaving business has allowed the people to protect their heritage and not migrate to the US. / teomartinez1a Bob Freund 4/30/2004

 

A special rug woven by Alberto just before he passed away of an Otomi Indian spirit that I gave to him to weave. It is the Spirit of Green tomato ( tomatillo)
