San Fransisco Atonilco is almost at the end of the road , entering from Acaxochitlan, Hidalgo on the old road from Tulancigo to Tuxpan, Vera Cruz. Not recommeded.

View from above the town, the town in the distance is Chachuahuantla. The archiological site is obvious in this view.

An example of the type of commercial belts woven in San Fransisco.
4_downtown
This is the center of town and the only paved road. No tourist arrive in this village, it is very traditional. We walked down the main street and could see back strap looms every where, but most people hide when we approached.

San Francisco from a distance, it is very obvious from this point of view that the town surrounds an archeological site.
