| The Mexican Textile Project documents the traditional costumes and dress of the indigenous people of Mexico. The project began three years ago and has documented over 200 villages from remote parts of Mexico. While the project is a nonprofit project of Hygeia Foundation of New York City it relies of contributions from the developer and others to continue the documentation. Today the project has created a way for the many many visitors to the web site to help in this important project, The Museum Store. While this is just the first step in the store, well it is a beginning. Please shop there and help to project continue to grow.

| The project has set out to educated the public about these endangered cultures. Through an aggressive plan of promotion and constant attention to "search engine optimization" The Mexican textile project lists a #1 in Google, Msn and Yahoo.
There are currently over over two hundredvillages and many more web pages to visit and fifty beautiful pictures of our favorite indigenous women |
